Abstract Submission

We invite you to submit an abstract to be reviewed for inclusion in the conference programme as either an Oral (15 minutes including questions) or Poster presentation. All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Programme Committee. Please note that only a limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentations and therefore some presenters may be assigned a Poster presentation even if they have specified for an oral presentation.

Please note, for your abstract to be accepted into the final conference programme you must be a fully registered and paid delegate.

Presentation types

Oral Presentation - Successful applicants will receive a 15 minute presentation in the Thursday 'Free Communication' Session.

Poster Presentation - Successful applicants will receive a poster position at the conference and can display their poster from the Wednesday Evening until Friday afternoon. There will be an official Poster Viewing session held throughout the Congress as well. Presenters are required to stand next to their poster during this time.

Categories

There are no official abstract submission categories for the 2019 Congress however it must be related to Haematology.

Submitting an Abstract

Abstracts should be written for a general audience with a maximum of 300 words for the body of the text (excluding title and affiliations). Please indicate the presenting author and their email address during the submission process. You will not be able to proceed to the next stage of the abstract submission until the presenting author is identified. We advise that you register for the conference before submitting your abstract. It is not paramount that you process payment at this point but please complete the registration process completely. The formatted abstract will appear at the end of the process which will show the authors, institutions and corresponding author email address. You will receive a confirmation email once your abstract has been successfully submitted. If you do not receive this confirmation email, please contact ASN Events.

Should you wish to make changes to your abstract after you have submitted it, please log into your registration dashboard. Click the button "manage" for the conference you would like to edit the abstract for. Under the abstract heading you will be able to view, edit or submit a new abstract. Final changes must be made by the abstract submission deadline of June 28th 2019.
