Travel Grants & Scholarships

The committee of the Indian Ocean Rim Laboratory Haematology Congress is pleased to announce that several international travel grants and scholarships will be available for the 2019 meeting.

International Travel Grant

Application Process

Several International Travel Grants will be awarded to delegates attending the meeting from low-middle income settings.  Applicants must submit an abstract and present a poster or oral talk at the Congress. Successful applicants will receive finances to attend the congress as well as a complimentary registration and dinner ticket as part of their Travel Grant.

*Note: No funds will be disbursed to Travel Grant Applicants until they have attended and presented at the Congress.

In order to apply for an international travel grant you must:


 You will be notified of the result of your application in the weeks concluding 28 June 2019.

 

Scholarships 

Several Scholarships will be awarded to the best submitted abstracts from registrants under the age of 30 years. The abstracts will be reviewed by the congress programme committee. Successful applicants will receive a complimentary registration and dinner ticket as part of their scholarship.

Application Process

In order to apply for a Scholarship you must:

  • Be a student (<30 years of age) - Proof of age is required

  • Submit an abstract to the Indian Ocean Rim Laboratory Haematology Congress for Oral Presentation Only

  • Complete the online application form here and send it to Jim Fawcett (JF@asnevents.net.au)  by 28 June 2019.

You will be notified of the result of your application in the weeks concluding 28 June 2019.

 

Low or low-middle income Country Registration

Application Process
Select the appropriate registration type when you register to obtain the discounted $300 rate.
